LTEC 5570: Ethical, Legal, and Professional Issues in Computing

It is a course designed to provide you with a basic framework for ethical technology use in a variety of settings. The course starts with a basic understanding of the moral, legal, and professional uses of computers and information technology. It continues with accountability issues, freedom of expression, associated legal implications, copyright issues, security, and privacy. A definition and philosophical foundation is presented for ethical practices and information uses in educational computing.
